COLLAGE is a program run by occupational therapists who help children with social deficits better adapt and understand the world around them.   Two therapists normally facilitate groups for children with comparable social impairments.  Each 8 week session meets weekly for 1 1/2 hours.  Sharing news, conversation, projects, games and snacks are the usual components in a meeting.

Carol Gray, the originator of social stories, was approached by a producer in Hollywood whose son has autism.  He told Carol he was thankful for the social stories because it helped his son.  He asked her is he  ever considered making videos to visually show the kids the "missing information" they don't get. So, Carol and this guy, Mark Shelley, forged a partnership called The Carol Gray Project. Mark's company is producing all of Carol's hard copy social stories and putting them in a video format. There are three samples in this website.  It takes 1 -2  minutes to download the movie all depending on your computer.  It is well worth the wait.
